Panellists of this conference will discuss the various forms of journalism that transcend the common structures of newsrooms and how these perspectives have been contributing to alternative views of the kaleidoscope of Brazilian affairs from the early twentieth century to the contemporary world. The discussions will be centred on the analysis of narratives, cases studies and journalistic experiences that make use of hybrid, literary genres, such as “crônica”, reportage, and nonfiction novel, as well as other forms of creative/investigative journalism such as interviews, comics, documentaries, radio dramas, the work of international correspondents (world service), and visual arts.
